Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah insists that he’s not seeking “crazy stuff” but wants to feel appreciated by his club under his new deal.
The Egypt international has less than 18 months left on his current contract at Liverpool FC and has repeatedly stated the decision to stay or go remains with the club.
According to media reports, Salah is aiming for an average weekly income in excess of £300,000 which would be a huge dent for the Reds wage structure. Owner Fenway Sports Group is reluctant to offer huge contracts for players after they turn 30 years old, which is the case for Mo Salah in June 2022.
Mohamed Salah has left FSG with no choice as Liverpool must face £83m contract reality.
It looks like his days may be numbered at Anfield, where next for the Egyptian forward?
